1:20.6	We all hate funerals because they confront us with the reality of death and the inevitable
1:26.6	final separation from life in our bodies on this earth.
1:30.4	But there's one funeral we can look forward to and will eagerly attend,
1:34.7	the funeral of sin and death.
1:38.0	That's what we just celebrated this past Sunday on Easter.
1:41.2	More than likely, you either sang, recited, or heard these words from 1 Corinthians 1555.
1:47.7	Quote, O death, where is your victory? Oh, death, where is your sting? End quote. If you are God's
1:54.6	child, waiting for you on the other side of the death of sin is a glorious eternal life. But what about until then? Until the promised
2:04.9	return of the Messiah King, when all things will be made right again, and we will be transformed
2:10.2	into the likeness of the king. Until war cease, evil breathes its last, disease wanes. Suffering screeches to a halt. Death finally
2:20.3	dies. Until we are gifted with a new heaven and a new earth, with peace and righteousness
2:26.3	reigning forever and ever. Until Shalom covers the cosmos, and all things are made new.
