So you mentioned Psalm 27.

Let's talk about Psalm 27 a little bit.

So David is in the really hard moments in his life.

Old Testament scholars say it was either when he was running from the murderous intent of Saul,

who was jealous of him, a situation of gross personal injustice because David had been nothing but a loyal servant to Saul.

Or he's running from Absalom Hassan who conspired to take his throne.

That was probably going to mean David's death, which is family portrayal of the deepest sort.

And David says, this one thing I desire, to go into the temple, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord, I've always been interested in the language there.
