Who's paying attention?

Okay, I'm going to get right into it this week.

Syria.

What the hell is going on?

I listened to Barack Obama's speech this past Saturday and it scared me how much it sounded like George Bush right before we went into Iraq.

The thing with weapons that we haven't seen.

And I'm not denying it was use of chemical weapons.

I think we do have evidence from the UN.

But still, the same talk and how it's going to be a short

military action. It's not going to be a war. We're not going to get dragged in. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

This scared me, I'm telling you. I'm afraid that one day we're going to see Barack Obama sitting on an aircraft

carrier with a banner behind him saying mission accomplished. Listen, I'm not buying this at all, okay?

They're talking about an international court, international justice, et cetera. No, if it truly was international justice, wouldn't

George Bush and Dick Cheney have to appear in front of some court for starting the Iraq war,

which has been proven to be a completely illegal and poorly planned and destructive debacle?

Not to mention the fact, did we not learn any lessons from

Iraq that when you just bomb a Middle Eastern country that what's going to happen, some civilians

are going to get killed, there's going to be resentment, and it strengthens terrorist

organizations like al-Qaeda and so on.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be some punishment or something done about these chemical weapons in Syria,

but don't we have secret forces that can go in and destroy the weapons?
