Hey everyone, Vancouver Radio, good morning, afternoon or evening. I might be the early hours,

perhaps you're awake at 3 a.m. and you're like, oh yeah, I listen to a Benkuma radio show. Why not? Anyway, enough of my poor chat. Let's dive into a little topic which I thought might be helpful. If it's not, feel free to not listen. So this little topic is what I eat on a daily basis.

And it kind of is pretty similar most days, apart from the weekend where it gets a bit

different like most people because our eating with friends family that kind of

stuff and also how I tend to currently juggle what might be sort of a performance

target or of eating for performance, performance nutrition.

So I've discussed quite a bit on the podcast before where my perspective of food is first and foremost functional secondary its enjoyment. So food should be enjoyable. Food is a great enjoyable part of life.

It's something that we do a lot, you know, most of us eat between three and six times a day.

So it should be enjoyable it wants to be enjoyable and hopefully you know that healthy food can be enjoyable we should

be able to and if not we should look to learn

and optimize this. We should be able to eat well and enjoy things. We shouldn't be sacrificing

taste and enjoyment for healthy food.

And if you're listening to this thinking, oh, you know, I kind of struggle with that,

then I would really implore that you pick up a couple of recipe books you learn you go and

invest time in creating amazing beautiful healthy food that you can easily

prepare and stick to that you can eat every day every week

because otherwise a healthy diet will become boring. Now I don't know if I was

always like this I think I was as a kid I was pretty open to

eating a lot of healthy food we got fed a lot of good stuff when we were kids one of

the reasons or yeah the reason I was obese when I was a kid

is because I was fortunate enough to go to boarding school and you were able to eat

whatever you want basically so I ate whatever I want and I ate a lot of it and
