Summary

KEY WORD: 'Challenge” (last chance)

Summary of episode: This podcast is inspired from someone that recently messaged us saying their hunger was out of control. No matter what they did. Here are a few tips that can help you with this.

1- Eat Mindfully

  • Pay attention to what and how much you're eating. Avoid distractions like watching TV or using your phone while eating. Chew your food slowly and savor each bite.

2- EAT BETTER FOOD!!!

  • Prioritize protein, eat enough fibre & drink lots of water

3- Understand the difference between tolerable and intolerable hunger

4- Get rid of the liquid/empty calories

5- Cut out the mindless snacking & have regular consistent meals

  • As Huberman says, “eat like an adult.”
  • Eating regular, balanced meals and snacks can help stabilize blood sugar levels and prevent extreme hunger, which can lead to overeating.

6- Manage Stress & Get Enough Sleep

  • Lack of sleep can disrupt hunger hormones, leading to increased appetite. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night.

We got a killer episode as always. So thank you so much for tuning in today. This is a really

0:17.3

informative episode and this is really going to help you with maintaining

0:21.1

lean body with your future cut with dieting in general. So take it away, Kyle.

0:26.1

So yeah, this was inspired and actually we get asked it by a lot of people, but someone

0:30.1

specifically had said, hey, you know, my appetite's like a furnace. Like it just, it doesn't

0:34.6

stop. It's just I, I don't know what to do. And it's amazing because I feel like

0:39.7

these tips can help you so much. And especially for those of you who are in a consistent calorie

0:45.2

deficit, you're looking to lose fat, you know, it can get challenging, right? And I'd say by making

0:51.1

sure that you're satiated properly and that you're not always starving,

0:55.2

there's so many different things we consider, but it makes it more sustainable and it makes you

0:59.3

just have better success.

1:00.9

So I'm going to start with number one, something that I think is very, very important, is just

1:05.6

honestly eating mindfully.

1:07.3

And I have to remind myself of this consistently because I remember back when I was looking into some different things in terms of how much we consume in terms of like when we're eating mindfully or when we're not mindful.

1:19.8

And so for example, I remember seeing some studies saying that if we're actually always watching something and I still can do this here and there, especially as I'm on my bulk. I just find that I'm not the greatest with this personally, but I will say anyone who does this, like, will experience a very big difference. It's, let's say, you know, maybe 30% increase in calories because you're always, I guess you could say, doing something while you're eating. And this is where I think some people

1:44.6

struggle is you're always watching TV. Some people will do it while they're driving. Some people

1:48.9

will do it when they're distracted. And you don't realize how much extra you can actually consume.

1:53.5

And it's just something that may leave you feeling unsatiated afterwards just due to some distractions.

1:59.5

So I will say there's a lot of things you can change.

2:02.2

I would just say eating slower, you know, using some smaller utensils can help as well.
