In today's episode, we're going to be talking about working with anxieties, retreat and freeze modes. These are more ways

that anxiety can have us kind of in the grips of not being able to feel like we are moving forward.

And so we're going to talk about that today.

Anxiety about retreating and anxiety with the freezing and both of those can happen and I bet some of you have already experienced that.

And I don't want you to feel like it's one of those weird things

that nobody else has, because it's pretty common.

Now back to talking about anxiety and retreat and anxiety and freezing.

I want to talk about how we make progress when we are struggling or challenged with these anxious feelings that we might be having.

Often, once we make a little bit of progress we're able to actually start to be with our

feelings and our thoughts and our sensations and we can actually do some floating with those feelings that might be coming up or

some of those physical sensations that we might be dealing with. And when that happens

we are actually tuning into what's going on in the moment,

instead of just glossing over everything or distracting, which we often do when we need to.

And that can get us into a little bit of trouble sometimes because we don't need to distract forever. We can actually learn to be with these

feelings without needing to be glossing over them, pushing them down, pretending they're not there, or

distracting from them. And what we want to do is when we get to this place where we're actually feeling these feelings and we can be with them and we've been able to do some floating with these feelings and what does that mean to be with them and be floating with them and be floating is to have the sensation,
