Academy, episode 54. On today's episode, we're talking to Rebecca Miki, a mom of two, a wife of one,

and a children's sleep specialist who would not ever dream of telling you to leave your

children to cry it out. Rebecca loves helping families turn drama into dreamland. When she's not

momming, wifing, or consulting, you can find her either running rather slowly or sipping coffee in

Seattle. So I know Rebecca through a couple different communities. I know her through some business stuff and

events that we've gone to and groups that we participated in. And then I also know her from the

amazing running community through running evolution in Seattle with Beth Baker, the amazing Beth Baker.

So Rebecca and I have both done some training with Beth for running events. And so we've not done our

training at the same time. So what happens is I see that Rebecca is doing a training with Beth for running events. And so we've not done our training at the same

time. So what happens is I see that Rebecca is doing a training with Beth on Facebook and then

pictures are posted of all their training runs. And I just get to cheer for Rebecca. And I got to do

that while she was training for her first marathon a year or two ago. So that was really fun.

I'm a huge fan of Rebecca's because not only does she do things like run a marathon when she has

her own business and a couple of kids and a husband to take care of, but she also took great

care of me unknowingly when Vinny was really little. So when Vinny was a baby, Rebecca, and she still

has it, she had this amazing Facebook page for her business and she would answer baby and kids sleep questions on the page. And at that time, she was doing it on a weekly

basis. She would do these Q&As, and I would obsess over everything that she said because I was
