| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to mood with Lauren Elizabeth. I'm Lauren Elizabeth. Today I'm going to bring on one of my best girlfriends who is absolutely |
| 0:08.0 | just my rock, my everything, her heart is so freaking beautiful, drives me crazy because she's even more beautiful in person and kind and person. |
| 0:19.0 | You know her and probably love her. She's one of my great friends, Michelle Randoff. We decided to do something a little bit different where instead of doing just kind of a normal interview or |
| 0:30.0 | just having someone on over zoom, you know, she's in my little quarantine pod. So we decided to do just a current mood combo, which was actually just a combo. And we'll explain kind of why I'm having her on and what we're going to talk about. |
| 0:44.0 | It's pretty much just all about friendship and believing in yourself and anxiety and just it's it's a little crazy. I'm not going to lie. We recorded it when we were having a girls night and I had her come over an hour and a half before. |
| 0:57.0 | Of course, as the episode goes on, some of our girlfriends keep popping in and showing up. So I think it's really special. I think it's really in the moment and authentic just some real conversation for you guys to listen to just to really great girl friends talking and talking with you guys as well. |
| 1:14.0 | So you don't have to deal with me by myself this whole episode, but you do for the first part. So let's jump into best mood and worst mood of the week. |
| 1:22.0 | For once on this podcast, I have two best moods. I do obviously have a small worst one because I'm human. You guys let's not be ridiculous. But I do have two best moods. It all started after a really, really stressful week. And as you guys know, it was also stressful because obviously the election. |
| 1:40.0 | And no matter what your political views are, all I know is that I personally felt a sense of relief that the election was not only over, but wow, was it a best mood to be in the streets of Los Angeles and have that energy shift. |
| 1:56.0 | It was so incredible. It was the definition of a mood booster just being out in the city and out of the house just getting coffee with a mask on, but people honking and screaming out their cars and waving. It was just like I'm getting the chills even thinking about it. |
| 2:14.0 | It was just so, so special and so positive and filled with love and kindness and hope with all these different people's energy in the streets. It was just such a mood booster that I truly, truly needed. |
| 2:28.0 | And it was just amazing. So I wanted to acknowledge that because I know, you know, we talked about stress last week and it was such a crazy. I'm sure weekend for everyone. |
| 2:40.0 | And social media feeds as it was mine. And I mean, I'm hoping that Steve Kronaki, Kronaki, however you say his last name, the man, all I can think about is him. I'll never forget the guy just pointing at the map. I think the one of the best mood boosters was just seeing breaking news from the New York Times. And it just says Steve takes a break. |
| 3:02.0 | And I was like, this is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. Like it's truly amazing and hilarious. And although not all parts of the election were amazing and hilarious. |
| 3:12.0 | I think no matter what your political views are, I hope you felt that energy. I hope you stayed away from any toxic or negative energy. |
| 3:21.0 | Once again, no matter what you believe, there's just so much kindness and love in the world. And I really felt that in different areas of my life on Saturday. And also, no matter what a female just got elected in the White House. And I was hysterically crying like a child just watching her in her white suit, Kamala Harris, just watching her smile on TV in her white suit with her nieces surrounding her. |
| 3:50.0 | I was dare you say, bowling, crying, fully bowling my eyes out to which point I then decided to make myself cry harder and turn on a really sad movie because I was like, the tears are already flowing. |
| 4:00.0 | So why don't we just switch gears and put on a really sad movie and see if we can keep them flown for the night. They did. |
| 4:07.0 | And then obviously my other best mood as I'm sure you know from Instagram at Lauren Elizabeth. |
| 4:14.0 | I released my clothing collection that I've worked extremely hard on. I'm not going to get into detail on this podcast because I have probably taken over your Instagram stories, your Instagram feed. I uploaded a YouTube video about it. I uploaded a night GTV about it. I don't need to make a whole podcast episode about it. But I do just want to say that it was a best mood seeing something I've worked for years tirelessly on behind the scenes come to tangible fruition. |
| 4:41.0 | Have you guys be able to live in it. And if you guys listen to this podcast and you know me, you know that my only goal in life is to bring awareness to mental health to self care to taking care of yourself to actually taking care of yourself from the inside out and not in a cheesy way like genuinely taking care of yourself. |
| 5:01.0 | And feeling the best version of you who doesn't give a fuck what other people think and what other people are doing to curate in your best self. And that starts at home and that starts with relaxing and recharging and I'm constantly laying around the house and lounge where I'm doing it right now working and being able to give you small little pockets of that feeling in different tangible forms or audio forms or digital forms. |
