It's Dylan, your host of One Shot? And while I'd love to make a little gag about how I was actually the host the whole time, or that I broke into the One Shot headquarters and stole the keys to the studio and James is currently

banging on the door outside it's really an honor to be here and I'm genuinely

so touched that James has let me take part in something so special that he worked so hard to build.

And I really want to thank you, the listeners, for giving me a shot and welcoming me on board.

Now this week, my inaugural week, James Damato and I sat down one on one to play a game called

I have the High Ground by Jess Levine. This game is a game of verbal jousting, the buildup of tension in the moments before a grand fight actually occurs,

played with an elegantly narrative version of rock paper scissors.

I have had the privilege to play with James before but we really got to

storycraft something fun and unexpected here that made the hours fly by and you'll

see what I mean in a moment but Jess has made something great. The gameplay itself is a breeze to learn and the character creation process is so fun and thorough that by the time you start playing, it's on. I fully played this game twice more since James and I sat down together so yeah

it's an A-plus for me. All right enough of me rambling sure how to do this one.
