| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the Daily Meditation podcast. This is Mary Megley and I honor you for showing up for yourself, for giving yourself permission to slow down and connect to the very best part of who you are. In today's meditation, you're going to be guided in a meditation with the option |
| 0:26.7 | to focus on your chakra. Every single Thursday, I leave a guided chakra meditation. Yesterday, |
| 0:35.5 | you did a Mudra meditation, and the day before that, you did a mudra meditation and the day before that you did a breathing |
| 0:40.0 | technique and then you did an affirmation meditation before that and before that when we started |
| 0:47.3 | this series you did a visualization meditation. So we're customizing this meditation to go with this week's theme, which is patience. |
| 1:01.2 | And I've presented to you many challenges this week to help you cultivate patience in your |
| 1:07.3 | own life. |
| 1:08.5 | And one of the challenges was to eat your meal with your loved one or someone |
| 1:17.2 | you know in silence. Just to spend time sitting down, dining with someone and eating in silence. |
| 1:24.9 | And if you did this, you may have noticed that it was pretty incredible |
| 1:32.3 | to connect with someone in this way. In fact, you'll probably feel really closer and connected |
| 1:39.9 | to the person when you do this. So I encourage you to do that this week. |
| 1:45.4 | I eat my breakfast in silence every day. |
| 1:50.8 | So if I'm with someone, I meditate in the morning. |
| 1:55.7 | So then after I meditate, I have breakfast in silence. |
| 1:59.8 | And it's a way for me to absorb all those beautiful |
| 2:03.6 | sensations I've created meditating. It's a way to carry it with me and keep it with me a little |
| 2:11.9 | bit longer. So I encourage you to try this. Now, I've also encouraged you to stand in the longest line at the grocery store or |
| 2:23.3 | wherever you have to wait. Let someone go ahead of you and try to take the longest route |
| 2:30.3 | you possibly can when you're driving this week. Now I don't always recommend |
| 2:36.1 | that because I want you to not to waste gas. So, but just try this for yourself this week |
| 2:45.0 | to develop patience. These techniques work. That's why I'm sharing them with you. |
