Oh, we definitely didn't, but I never tell anybody

because it's too embarrassing to have to admit that, you know,

you didn't fancy me in the days when we were in Fleet Street.

Well, I did, but I mean, you know, you were, you, you had a long relationship with a friend of mine.

You had access to some of the most famous men in the world, to rock gods and all that. How could I possibly compete with that?

You know, I come up to you one day and say, oh, Leslie Ann, you know, would you like to come out for dinner?

Oh, I'm sorry, I'd love to, but I'm, you know, I'm attending.

I'm seeing Ronnie Wood. I'm sorry, I'd love to, but I'm, you know, I'm attending... I'm seeing Ronnie Wood, or I'm attending, you know, a guitar special with Brian May, you know, or something like that.

So I never put myself in the position to be rejected because I don't take rejection easily.

Yeah, but we've always been friends.
