Beyond Davies, welcome very much to the podcast. Oh, hello. Thank you. Straight into it. Oh, eat it. Yeah. Oh, sorry. Just for

0:06.1

a call. Yeah. So to begin with today, we've just rolled. We've just come straight from Brazilian

0:12.7

Gidgettzi. Yeah. I said this to you. I did not want to sound condescending in my training.

0:19.3

You are very, very good. Thank you. You're quite good. Yeah. You're good as well. So you're a black belt.

0:25.2

Yeah. How long have you been in black belt? It'll be three years in November. So also that's my Gidgettzi

0:30.4

anniversary as well. Oh, nice. So for people listening, that's two belts above me. I'm purple,

0:36.1

then brown, then black. How much do you weigh? All right now. I'm like 61. Yeah, kilos.

0:44.6

I did not score a point on you in the whole round. And it got to the point where I was I was really

0:51.1

trying at the end. Yeah. I didn't even get a point. You literally beat me up. Thanks. I'm very

1:19.7

until my teens. So that gave me a big advantage when I started to get to you as well, then.

1:24.4

So if you had to do for people listening, they go, I have no idea what judo is. They might have

1:29.0

1:36.6

fighting you. So like trying to lift a person and throw them overhead. So like wrestling, I feel like

1:43.0

you can grab a legs and then judo, you're just literally all up a body trying to hip toss them and

1:47.9

stuff like that. So it's like a juditsu before you hit the ground, I suppose. And how'd you win in judo?

1:53.4

You got to throw them flat on their back. So it has to be like on their back. So if you turn on

1:57.2

your front, that's not counted as a score. So then in juditsu, then a kind of, if you show your back,

2:02.8

that was hard to get over when I started juditsu was that I would like fling myself onto my belly

2:07.4

and that people just take my back and choke me. So I was like, oh, you're great. So some like habits
