Summary

Our love for the Lord is a response to His love for us. Like 1 John 4:19 says, "We love because he first loved us." And our obedience to the Lord should flow out of our love for Him. simply put what are we talking about today we are talking about the Lord's love for us and our reciprocal love for him.

Now, love for the Lord is what should drive our obedience to him.

In John 1415, Jesus said, if you love me, you will keep my commandments.

In fact, remember that Jesus summed up the entire law by saying, love God and love others.
