of Joseph Patrick Haley who was shot in his Milwaukee Oregon apartment on the morning of

but I am from Oregon. Anyway, fellow Oregonians joining me today for the discussion are

retired Sergeant Dan Krause with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and senior investigator,

John Krumonocker, with the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office. So both Dan and John

were involved in the investigation and subsequent prosecution of this case. So for the listeners,

this case has been solved. So I know some of our listeners really enjoy the solved cases because

there's satisfaction. We do cover a lot of unsolved

cases as well, but this case is solved. So there will be an ending and hopefully it will be

very satisfactory to everyone. So thank you both for being here today. This case goes back, as I said,

to 2009, and I think it was in 2011 that the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office brought this case to us.

And we did a profile, offered some observations, some investigative suggestions.

So before we get started, if each of you want to give a little bit of your background, Dan,

Yeah, so I worked for Clackamas County Sheriff for 25 years.

I was a police officer for 28 years. I retired in right in the middle of the pandemic two days after the situation Minnesota developed. And I have been doing other things since then. I have a private investigations firm. And I've been doing a lot of traveling and trying to not think about some of this stuff.
