This is the biggest news I think in the history of this podcast.

I've been keeping this a secret for months now, but it is now finalized.

We have officially sold our e-commerce brand, Remy and Rue.

Well, kind of.

What's up? Welcome back to another episode of Built by Business.

Like I said in the intro, I think this is probably the biggest newsbreak I've ever made on my podcast, at least for me personally.

For the past seven months or so, we've been working on finalizing the sale of our e-commerce

brand that started all of this, Remy and Rue. And I say, well, kind of, because I do need to

clarify, my wife and I have sold our ownership share of the brand to our business partners. So

they will now be running the brand as 100% owners moving

forward. And this is a big moment in our journey for Taylor and I, because this was really the brand

that started all of this. I know a lot of you guys know the story, but for those who may be new here,

in 2018, my wife was hand sewing bandanas for our dog Remy. We had just gotten

her a few months previously and she was still just a puppy. And Taylor and her mom would drive

to fabric stores like Joanne's and pick out cute fabrics and then hand sew dog bandanas.

From there we got interest from friends and family who saw pictures

of Remy on our social media, and Taylor was then hand-making bandanas for these friends and

small customers. And long story short, from there, we partnered with our neighbors and grew it

into a massive success, mainly on Amazon. And of course, from that stemmed all of this. My podcast,

which I've been doing since 2020, my coaching, my consulting programs over the years, now my

Wevos agency that I've been running for two years. And I've now been able to help hundreds of

people personally, as well as thousands more who have seen my content across
