Oh, loa, welcome back to the Anxiety Coaches Podcast.

0:27.0

In today's episode, I want to talk to you about understanding your nervous systems fear cycle. I spoke in an

0:37.3

earlier podcast about having the understanding of what's going on with you as being really helpful.

0:46.0

And like I said, you don't have to understand big complex things and we don't need to take this to a real technical level, but we do well when we can

0:58.8

understand in some way what is happening to us and our own body and how this is all connected, our

1:07.6

thoughts and our body.

1:09.8

And so I wanted to discuss the nervous systems fear cycle a little bit today.

1:17.0

Pain and anxiety have a lot of things in common.

sensitized feelings that come up, They are just easy with it. It doesn't it doesn't get to

2:18.6

them as it will to somebody who's extremely oversensitized on the other end of the spectrum at a 10.

2:28.0

And that would be being overwhelmed by everything, the wind blowing feels too much. Many things are too

2:38.9

much to handle, overwhelmed by life, unable to cope, unable to do many daily living activities and chores.

2:48.1

And so we can see there's the zero and the one, two, three where we're able to kind of ignore what's happening, a sensation or a feeling,

2:57.7

because we're all getting these feelings. We all have things, and I'll just throw in a personal example here of when I was when I was

3:07.2

very anxious I have to tell you I used to think I was having a heart attack when I would have gas bubbles that were
