about anxiety not being your forever friend. One of the questions I get

a lot is am I going to have this forever or many people come after having had anxiety for what

felt like forever and I'm talking about decades and so now that we're out in the open talking about anxiety much more than we had been

20 or 30 years ago it's really good because people can understand you don't have to have this forever. Anxiety is not

something that needs to become your forever friend. The idea of being

permanently scarred for life or damaged or broken by anxiety comes often in emails and questions from clients and group members.

And it's reasonable to ask such a question

because it feels like forever.

And so much of the medical response that people get when they go to their doctors or the

hospital is that they are going to need to take a medication and probably for the rest of their lives often.

Now not everyone has told it but many times this is what is reported to me and it saddens me because even if you have chose to use

medication it doesn't mean that you have to do this for life. Once you learn

what is going on and your own part in it when you can

find your own way to make the corrections in your life,

your lifestyle changes that can bring you back to your natural peace and calm,

you can begin to either let go of your medications peace and

you can begin to either let go of your medications or start to really feel great again

and understand what's going on even when you don't feel great and not have to panic because you have a bump or you don't

feel good one day.
