Hey. Hello and welcome to mini episode number 510 of real live ghost stories

and I have three spooky stories for you today

and the last story comes from the 28th of December 2025

and story number one comes from Sybil.

Thank you for reading my stories over a couple of days in the run-up to Halloween.

I thought I had purged all of my spooky tales, but alas, I have a recent one that I wanted

to share with you and your listeners.

I've been thinking lately about how I can carry my sister into my future, not just her memory,

but a more meaningful, connected relationship that properly survives her leaving to the next place.

We were absolutely connected in this world, and it seems to me that doesn't need to end completely

just because she's not got her body anymore.

So late October I was trying to finish a paving project in my back garden before the weather turned.

And I was out there hauling pavers with the freezing rain pelting down on me.

And no surprise. My back seized up and I was pretty much unable to move.

I was basically incapable of anything

except pushing buttons on the TV remote. I was watching the first few minutes of an endless

parade of YouTube videos and came across one about signs from your loved ones who have passed on.

It was all feathers, robins, rainbows, butterflies and so on. Really pleasant things.

So laying there, I said to my sister, who I still talked to as though she were here in her body,

if you sent a rainbow or a butterfly, I would just not clue in that it was from you. None of those

things would make me think that you were around. I live in a place surrounded by

nature on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada, so I see pretty magical nature things
