The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 5009 of real life ghost stories and I have two spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from the 24th of December 2025 and story number one comes from Emma. I've had some odd things happen to me

over the years. Some I can remember vividly and others I've just let go of. I come from a line of

women who see, hear or know things. Both my ma'am and my nanny had their own stories to tell. Often as a child,

I would know my nanny was going to arrive and all of a sudden she would knock at the door.

Anyway, here are two of my stories. Back in about 2011, when my daughter was around four years

old, creepy kid vibes, but more so because of her night

terrors and not usually paranormal things. The normal routine was to collect my daughter after work and head

home, make dinner, etc. It was wintertime, dark and cold. On this day, my daughter had fallen asleep

in the car on the way home, as little people often do after a long day.

So when I got to our house, I lifted her out of her car seat still sleeping and brought her in.

I placed her gently down on the sofa in the living room to sleep a bit more while I made dinner.

I tucked her in a blanket and went into the kitchen.

The kitchen is directly behind the living room but can't be seen from the living room. You have to walk out of the living room and

down a hole to get to the kitchen. Where the cooker is in the kitchen is the opposite end to the

door, so you can't see the front door or the living room door when cooking. I'm making a

stir fry, so lots of chopping and sizzling going on in the kitchen. The rice is boiling and there

is the usual level of noise going on in the kitchen. I'm standing at the cooker, tossing the

veg in the walk, concentrating on what I'm doing, when I suddenly feel a tap, tap, tap on my hip,

like a small child would do to get your attention.

I look down and there's no one there.

I'm confused.
