0:33.5	My guest today is Anne Lynn, and she has one of those very powerful stories.
0:38.9	Anne was born in Vietnam. She immigrated to the United States when she was four, and
0:43.9	unfortunately she experienced a very volatile and abusive home environment. It's no wonder that
0:49.9	the concept of a forever home, which is the title of Anne's new book, is so key to her.
0:55.8	Now, on her stumbling journey of healing, Anne has discovered how to unlearn defense mechanisms
1:01.0	and toxic cycles that she was raised in growing up, and now is walking every day with her

1:21.1	You are, I hope I use this term correctly, you are a social media influencer. Is that right?
1:26.4	Yes, correct. Okay. We hear about you people,
1:29.5	you know, like from our generation, we hear about the social media influencers, and you are one.
1:35.7	So tell us a little bit about what that means and how you found yourself in that position.
1:41.7	Well, I never set out to be a social media influencer, especially because the
1:47.7	vocation didn't exist when I was younger either. So it wasn't something to aspire to. However, I did find
1:55.6	myself in the lucky position of gaining an audience once I moved out of my mother's house and kind of had
2:03.7	to scrap together a livable space for myself. I snapped the photo of it, put it on my
2:09.7	Instagram at the time, and it blew up. And that was the beginning of doing this as a passion
