Well, it's fairly common to talk in the church about the challenges that can arise in marriage,

but I don't think we talk enough about how fun marriage can be.

It can be really fun to have shared jokes and stories.

Really, there's a history to build upon because you know each other so well.

And it can be fun just trying new things together.

In fact, some of you might not know that Mike and I love playing pickleball

together. That's kind of become our thing. My guest today is Ted Cunningham, and even though he's not

really into pickleball, he did take his wife, semi-recently, to a roller skating rink for a date night.

Well, Ted is the founding pastor of Woodland Hills Family Church in Branson, Missouri.

He's a comedian on the date night comedy tour, and he's the author of several books all about

marriage. He's a fun guy, and he also has a lot of insight to share about why laughter and fun

is so great for marriages, and not just for marriages, but for our lives in general.

Hey, this is a lighthearted episode that I hope will inspire you to have more fun and to learn
