So I've got Sam Williamson here with me today. Sam, it's good to see you.

It's good to see you too Adam. It's been a long time. I appreciate your patience.

Yeah, it's taken us a while to connect. So some of you may remember that I did an episode a while back

about the process of learning to hear from God. And one of the books that I mentioned in that

episode, Sam wrote called Hearing God in Conversation. It was very meaningful to me, very helpful.

And so I thought we would get the author on the line and have some more conversation about

this very important topic of how is it that we come to learn to have as you put it, conversation

with God. But before we get into your book, Sam, can you say a little bit about who you are,

where you are, what you're interested in and passionate about? A thumbnail sketch is I was raised

in just a really good Christian family. I mean, I'm the more I talk to people, the more I realize
