The Sheep Hunt starts on Saturday, which is December 1st and these podcast episodes

will air probably sometime in the month of December but I get a lot of

questions on Instagram and I love answering listener and

Instagram followers questions but a lot of times there's not an overlap between people that listen on the podcast and listen or excuse me follow on Instagram.

So I figured I would go through some of these questions and just do an audio podcast answering them.

So let's get right to those questions here.

It says, what unit in Arizona has the highest deer concentrations.

Good question. I don't know the exact answer to that. I would assume that the Kaibab up in Unit 12 up on the north rim of the

Grand Canyon probably has some of the highest deer densities when you're talking about mule deer in the state of Arizona.

You've got the Arizona Strip, which are units 13A and 13B, which are to the west of the Kaibab. So you've got the 12 a east and 12 a west on the Kaibab and then 12b.

But you've got the strip out there to the west. They have a lot lower

density, deer density, but they do have just

gynormous bucks out there on the Arizona strip. concentration wise I'd have to say the

Kaibab is probably up there as far as deer numbers.

The question comes in, is the Kuyu Guide Pant too warm for September and October

AZ Hunts? And my first question is which hunts are you talking about

September, October elk hunts in Arizona or are you talking about

potentially the late archery deer hunts or maybe even early deer hunts,

the cooster hunts in October, even some of the mule deer hunts.

I'm going to say for Elkhunts, the guide pant for elkh hunts in Arizona is probably

a little on the warm side, but as you get later in those archery
