But tragically what we have heard and often been coached to focus on is that new birth.

And we've heard very little beyond that about the necessity, the necessity of honoring God.

And somebody will raise their voice and say,

pastor, it's not by works that we're saved.

I agree completely.

But it's by the food of your life,

I know whether or not you're in the kingdom.

And Jesus said that.

That's not my idea.

And if there is no evidence that you're in the kingdom,

if there's no fruit, I'm not interested

in your baptismal certificate.
