It's more difficult than we would like it to be.

Life isn't fair. Evil exists. Bad things happen to good people.

Our timelines, our calendars, our plans get disrupted and we still have to decide we will serve the Lord.

We are confronted with the ungodliness of our own hearts the years we have lived in

rebellion while we hid beneath the veneer of being Christ followers.

It's awkward when we have the courage to say to ourselves and the people we care about, I have to be different.
