| 0:10.1 | that his story must be told I came two in the morning but I took it as a warning |
| 0:19.1 | that you might be a treasure. I could touch but never hold. |
| 0:27.6 | Hi, everybody. This is Veronica Valley. And this is Chip Summers. Welcome back to the Soberful podcast. We are always excited to be with you today and every week that we're here. So before we got |
| 0:40.4 | started, today we're going to be talking about relapse prevention because in the Sober4 |
| 0:46.0 | Life program, that's our theme that we explore for the month. We're exploring relapse prevention. |
| 0:51.3 | So we'll get to that. But before we do, we just want to let you guys know about the sober kickstart, which is happening this Saturday. So if you're listening to the show as it's going out when it drops on Wednesday the 8th, I think it is, of May, the sober kickstart is taking place on Saturday the 11th. |
| 1:14.0 | The Sober Kickstart, basically it's a package. |
| 1:21.8 | And what you get in the package is access to Chip and I's 30-day program, which is called the Sober Kickstart. |
| 1:22.3 | And it's all the stuff that you need to get to 30 days of not drinking because we see a lot of |
| 1:26.7 | people struggle with that |
| 1:28.7 | in our free Facebook group getting back to day one again. And we want to just give you the tools |
| 1:33.5 | and the hacks and the kind of foundations for building that 30 days. But when you buy the Sober |
| 1:40.8 | Kickstart Plus, which is the event that's happening on Mayer Lent, you get that online program and then you get to attend this live workshop with Chip and I. We're going to |
| 1:49.0 | show up live. It's going to be interactive so you get to speak to us. And we are going to go through |
| 1:55.6 | really the broader foundations of what you need to do to really get some long-term sobriety under your belt, because that's kind of what we're experts in, I guess. I hope so by now. I hope so. At this point. There's one thing I can do in life. I hope this is it. Yeah. It's probably the only thing I do well. So in that workshop, it's two and a half hours. We'll have breaks. Don't worry. We are going to |
| 2:21.6 | look at a deep dive into a cost benefit analysis. This is what really helps shift the FOMO, |
| 2:28.0 | the fear of missing out and really kind of clarifies that really alcohol is not our friend. So we're going to do a really deep dive into |
| 2:37.4 | your personal cost benefit analysis. And we have a whole structure that we go. We're going to |
| 2:41.0 | take you through all of that. Then we're going to look at your strengths and challenges. |
| 2:45.4 | This is really important in recovery, is amplifying your strengths and minimizing your challenges. So we're going to look at doing that with you. We're always going to take you through how you tell other people what's going on, what you can say, and different situations that you may have coming up or you're just like, how do I deal with this? We will coach you through all of that. We're also going to look at the five pillars of sustainable sobriety. So quite a lot packed into two and a half hours. And if you can't make it live, that's okay because you will get a recording afterwards. Everyone who signs up, if you make it life, great. If you don't make it live, you'll get a copy of the video and that's yours to keep forever with all of that stuff |
| 3:24.9 | in it. But we would love to see you there because we just love meeting people who are just trying to get sober really, don't we? We do. I get slightly technically challenged by it, but yes, I much prefer seeing people than talking into the midair. But yes, no, it's great when we do the groups and things. Oh, and you also get, on top of that, there's a workbook to go through it. So we'll take you through the workbook. You get that, you get to print that off and go through that with us live on the workshop where you can do it in your own time along with the video. And you also get one month's free membership to the So Before Life program, to the community, all of that kind of stuff as well. So you can check it out. And if that's for you, great. Your membership will continue. If not, after 30 days, you can just end it if that wasn't for you. So you get all of that. And it's $175, which I think for a lot of people, that's probably what you spend on maybe one or two nights drinking. I spend at least that, at least that. |
