You believe that, Leighton? Well, I kind of have to believe it because I've seen the emails where he set up the

appointment with us now I know mims before get started, we like to always ask our guests some burning questions about their background.

And I know the burning question that our fans have had is how someone named Mims Carter actually turns out to be

a man?

Well, how many women do you know name them that's actually a very good point but uh... the reason why brought that up is uh... when

charly first talked about the uh... the mims uh... rating on iTunes

he uh... we were talking we both thought it was a woman and then all of them were like

wait this is a guy

where does the name come from?

A family name.

It's a actual not uncommon down here in the south.

And my parents wanted to name me after one of the relatives whose last name was Mims.

They thought I was going to be a girl and so her first name was Ferrer and so they I think

quite wisely chose the last name instead of the first

you know it certainly well you're not the first one to make that mistake i remember

my uh...

first year of uh... college i was signed to a women's storm because of my name

you know they ignore everything else I'm like and unfortunately they would not have

changed yeah I would not have changed.

Yeah, I try not to.
