I am so excited to have back as my guest, the great Malcolm Nance, who is a former Naval

Intelligence Officer among many other things, many of which we'll talk about.

In 2016, October 2016, he also published his book, The Plot to Hack America, which was

so hard-hitting and accurate that it absolutely should have had an impact on the presidential

election of 2016.

But for the fact that people were far too concerned about one candidate's fucking emails,

so that was sort of problematic, Malcolm is just back from the fight in Ukraine.

We are lucky to have him here as he's on a brief hiatus.

And currently, he is the New York Times best-selling author of They Want to Kill Americans.

How are you?

It's my pleasure to be back and it's a little different than where I just came from, but

it's time to talk about protecting American democracy now.

Yeah, because as you've made very, very clear recently, the successor failure of American

democracy is directly linked to the successor failure of Putin's illegal invasion of Ukraine

and democracy everywhere, right?

Absolutely.

The way I view Ukraine now, a nation that's at nine presidential elections, that as a very

free political environment, as a free legal environment, as a free freedom of speech environment,

and this is what bulls people over when they go to a city like Kiev or a Levive or some

of the other major cities in Ukraine, just how western these countries are.
