There are 105 days until the 2020 midterm elections, the most consequential elections

of our lifetime. This is not hyperbole. And today I am going to be speaking with my awesome

nerd avengers with special guests, tyroset buyer and potentially future nerd avengers

about the state of play when it comes to both sizing everything and the disadvantages that

puts Democrats at the advantages of puts Republicans at. And our other special guest

Olivier Troy just joining us and watch this here. Everybody welcome. I'm so happy to

have you here. And again, today we're focusing on the dangers that persist when it comes

to this. It's it's almost a compulsion at this point to pretend that both parties are

the same that if you criticize one, you have to criticize together. I saw this. Why

have you been talking about this on Twitter a lot, but I saw somebody I'm sorry I'm

not crediting the person, but I honestly don't remember who it was. But essentially the

tweet was, you know, on a Saturday Republicans are burning books. They're forcing 10 year

old rape victims to carry their babies to term and they're flying swastikas. And on Sundays,

the Sunday new, alleged news programs talk about high gas prices and inflation. So this

is a dangerous state of affairs because it's, it's deeply misleading. And it gives people

the impression that we are living in normal political times. And for people who don't have

the capacity to pay attention to too much for people who really are suffering because

of inflation and high gas prices, it's difficult to see beyond that without making, without

making a concerted effort, which quite honestly, a lot of people don't understand they need

to make. They figure, okay, you know, the news is supposed to keep me abreast of everything

that's happening and explain things to me. And we're being failed. They're being failed
