So we are studying the Vidantasaara of Sadananda.

By the way, somebody remarked that he has another copy of, there has another book called the Vedantasaara by Ramanujajacharya.

And that's right.

So Ramanuja, the great master of Vishishthwaita Vedantah.

He also wrote a book called Vedantasaara.

But that Vedantasara is a presentation of

Vishishthādwaita philosophy.

And that's an entirely different book.

This is an introduction to Adwaiata philosophy.

But confusingly both are called Vedan Tasara.

Now, we were studying the four preliminaries.

The four preliminaries are Adhikari, the qualified student,

Wishaya, the subject matter,

a sambandah, relation of the text to the subject matter,

and then Prajana, the purpose or the benefit of this study.

So we have already seen the qualifications for the person who's going to read this text.

So a spiritual seeker who has the four-fold qualifications.
