Hello and welcome to the Chris Terrell podcast. My name is Chris Terrell. And if you're new here, I've lost 125 pounds. It took me two and a half years to do it.

After an entire adulthood of being overweight, crossing 200 pounds in high school

I finally realized you can't just lose weight.

You've got to change your lifestyle.

I'm a big believer that if you're going to lose weight,

don't ask yourself to make changes that you aren't willing to do for 10 years.

The only change that you should be asking yourself to do on a temporary basis

is to put yourself into a caloric deficit.

So you might make some choices that cause you to do that.

I am not a big fan of doing that by carte blanche cutting out entire things categorically. That could be like, I'm going to cut out all carbs. I don't agree with that. It could be like, I'm going to cut it all fat. I don't agree with that. I'm going to cut it all protein. Don't do that. I just don't do that one. um it also might be i'm going to exercise insanely so i'm going to cut out all of my free time so i can
