We've recovered all the jobs lost during the pandemic.

We've added a million more new jobs.

President Joe Biden said the U.S. economy is moving in the right direction and experiencing

a strong recovery during a speech from the White House today.

Today we have the strongest economy in the world, the lowest inflation rate among the major economies.

He praised the latest jobs report from the Labor Department, which says the U.S. economy added

a hundred and eighty seven000 jobs in August.

That's roughly in line with the monthly average from 2010 to 2019,

but the unemployment rate rose compared to last month.

One of the reasons, according to the report is because more

than 700,000 people entered the workforce. Within that number, the number of

people who lost their jobs or completed temporary jobs grew in August. But on a positive spin, one economist says a sustained

growth in labor force participation could help bring wages down and slow

inflation. Biden also touted his administration's

biodynamics philosophy.
