Summary

Welcome to 5-minute Fridays, a new segment that I’m bringing to you weekly in this new “normal.” My goal with this quick episode is to share a story, offer you a prompt that makes you think, and share a few of my top highlights of the week — whether that’s a podcast, an app, a streaming workout, a quote — you get the idea.

PLEASE, let me know what you think. Do you like this? What do you want to hear about?

PROMPT: Set a timer for 3 to 5 minutes and write down as many things as you can that make you happy. What are you grateful for? What in your life brings you joy, no matter how big or small?

0:50.7

whether that's a podcast or an app or a streaming workout or just something that I've

0:55.1

seen over the last seven days that I want to share with all of you. So what I want to know as I keep

1:01.6

doing this segment, let me know, do you like it? Do you think it's helpful? What do you want more of?

1:08.1

What do you want to hear about on Fridays? I am here to please most of the

1:30.1

for today's five minute Friday, I am going to talk about the little things that bring me joy.

1:37.5

It is so important each and every day, whether this was three months ago or right now, to focus on the things that

1:46.3

make you happy. Of course, it's important to show up for the hard stuff, but paying attention

1:53.1

to the small details, finding the small wins, focusing on the good, there is so much good in that.

2:00.6

So for five-minute Friday today, I'm going to do a

2:03.0

little exercise and I'm going to encourage you to do the same. For the next three minutes,

2:08.6

I'm going to talk to you about the small wins, the things that have made me feel really grateful

2:13.3

over the past seven days. So here we go. First up, a morning routine. Now, every single morning for me
