Summary

Easier said than done, that’s for sure. In this week’s 5-MINUTE FRIDAY, I’m sharing a valuable lesson I learned a few years back about the difference between facts and feelings. It's been a game-changer for me when it comes to processing emotions and making positive progress. I'm also sharing a big breakthrough from the past week, involving my bike, a few hills, a bridge, and a supercharged fist pump.

into it, a big announcement. I am taking a one-week season break because season three of Hurtle is coming

0:33.4

to a feed near you, ASAP, wherever you get your podcasts. In all facts, it's actually launching

0:39.3

on July 13th. So next week, I'm taking some time to get some ducks in a row before I come

0:45.2

back with a really, really exciting season. I mean that. I am such a huge fan of all of the

0:53.5

individuals I bring on the show.

0:55.1

But let me tell you, the guests that I have lined up for season three, it makes me feel

1:01.7

really content, which sounds like an odd word, I guess, to use in this case.

1:07.8

But some of these individuals, I have been quote unquote chasing forever

1:12.0

when I ask on social media who it is that you want to hear from. These are a lot of the names

1:19.2

that come into my DMs. And I'm also really proud that it is the most diverse season of the show yet. I'm really looking forward

1:30.4

to bringing you some super engaging stories. I can tell you right off the bat that I cried in

1:34.7

at least two of the interviews I have coming down the pipe for you. So trust me, stay tuned.

1:40.3

Again, to reiterate, I'll be taking a quick break next week, but I'll be back on July 13th.

1:45.7

Coming in summer primetime, hotter than ever.

1:49.6

Anyway, this week for five-minute Friday, I'm talking about the difference between fact versus feeling.

1:56.3

So I'm going to give you some background.

1:57.8

A few years ago, I took a, I participated in a 40-day challenge of sorts through one of my

2:06.4

favorite yoga studios, Lionsden.

2:08.5

They have two locations in New York City.

2:10.0

They've got one in Tribeca and one in Chelsea.

2:13.1

And this 40-day challenge, of course, included a ton of yoga, but it also had weekly meetings where we went through a book from Baron Baptiste called The 40 Days to Personal Revolution.
