This is the rant.

And I had a tweet go viral. And no, not look at me. Stop. That's dumb. Whatever. You never, the stupidest stuff goes viral on Twitter. And honestly, I put out just a little tweet. I was intrigued. And, you know, selfishly, I like to do some of this stuff to get content for the radio show and the podcast. And lo and behold, we got some content for today. But I put out, you know, what's your least favorite fantasy football league setting or roster requirement? Just simple, right? And I put minus short bench leagues. And I've said this numerous times over the years. I think they're ridiculous, they promote luck over skill, and you would not believe the pushback I got on that.

So today's podcast, we're going to focus in on five things that you might have in your leagues.

Maybe you don't have any of these things, and if you don't, then lucky you. But they tilt your league towards luck over skill.

That's the idea here. So, and obviously we will talk about short benches. I'm going to lead

with those because it is one of the biggest defenders here. Yet conventional wisdom in a lot of

fantasy football leagues is it does

the opposite, that it forces you to make tough decisions. So we're going to get into that,

of course, today. I think this is going to be a fun one. As we're moving towards another weekend

of drafts, though, of course, we have you covered over at FtNFantasy.com and waiting for all the

roster cutdowns to be completed before I make any major

cheat sheet adjustments, but they're going to be all set up just like for last weekend. You'll have

it Friday and Saturday and we're going to roll through the weekend. Usually the nice thing is

once you get to that point, I mean, there's lower end players will get cut, but nothing big

tends to happen outside of maybe an occasional

trade. But the goal is still for you to have the most updated information possible so you can

dominate the remainder of your drafts this weekend. So I'll be working hard to help you out.

And by the way, Tuesday, I am flipping the switch. On Tuesday, boom, a week from today, guess what? Week one.
