you heard what the jury heard in char Flores' 1999 murder trial.

These 12 people, seven men and five women, took all of that information back into the deliberation room,

and they decided that Charles Flores was guilty of murder.

Then, they determined that, based on Texas' special questions and capital cases, he should be sentenced to death. The challenge of this case, you know, it's like separating what was shown to the jury

versus what has been pried out of the depths from, you know, research, where you have people

very much not interested in anybody getting at the truth.

But there's a lot the jury didn't hear, and these things will be the backbone of the next two decades of appeals in this case.
