| 0:00.0 | What's when on guys? Welcome back at the Dreamys Scott Fenders podcast and radio show. |
| 0:03.9 | Coming to you on this Tuesday here before I head into my own workout and bodies kind of dragging a little bit this morning. |
| 0:11.3 | But hopefully this wakes me up and gives you guys some value as well, or at least a peek into some workouts that maybe you can take with you and try and skill it and drill it and hopefully |
| 0:21.5 | thrill it depending on what level you are at in terms of your training. So today's podcast is |
| 0:28.9 | literally just five of, you know, some of the hardest workouts that are done. Now, I'm not saying |
| 0:34.3 | these are the five hardest, you know, guaranteed forever, but these are five things that are most definitely challenging for anybody. Now, I'm not saying these are the five hardest, you know, guaranteed forever, |
| 0:37.8 | but these are five things that are most definitely challenging for anybody, depending on whatever level |
| 0:43.3 | they're at. I'm going to share more than five here with you guys, but I'm just going to give you five, |
| 0:47.3 | you know, kind of brutal ones based on, you know, sprint style, endurance style, some strength stuff, |
| 0:51.7 | some upper body, some lower body and everything kind of mixed in between. And you just have to know when you guys are training, these aren't meant for everyday use. These are things that you probably can't complete every single day of the week. It's kind of like why every day it can't be. And people say, you know, make today's workout your best workout. It just can't be. It's not a believer in that. There's just just some days where you're dragging ass whether you're you know the sleep you had wasn't great or maybe you're stressed or your body's just sore from uh overuse or you have some nagging injuries or whatever it is and again every day can't be a PR day either like when i was young i used to do a lot of dumb shit we used to do like the uh you you know, what's your, you know, how much do you bench? |
| 1:28.6 | How much do you squat? Like that would be the question we ask people. Like that was the end all be all of like how strong or how fit you were when it's complete horseshit. It's really no different than now in the fitness industry when you see somebody with abs. You assume like they're in a really great fucking shape. |
| 1:24.1 | Like, it's one metric, you guys. |
| 1:26.5 | Like, just because somebody has abs, like, doesn't mean they're like super healthy or |
| 1:30.3 | like super fit. great fucking shape. Like, it's one metric, you guys, like, just because somebody has abs, like, doesn't |
| 1:44.7 | mean they're, like, super healthy or, like, super fit. It can be an indicator, but sometimes just genetically they've won or they eat really well or whatever. But, like, there's a lot of people I know who, you know, can't bench a lot and they can't squat a lot, but they're really fucking fit. And there's also a lot of people i know who like who have abs who absolutely like zero fucking motoring can't move and they can't |
| 2:04.2 | physically do shit in fitness but they just look the part so just take that for what it's worth |
| 2:10.0 | and understand like how we measure you know what fitness is or like what strength is or what |
| 2:15.3 | being fit is is very it's very arbitrary and it covers a wide spectrum of things and so my point being is when i was young people would be like you know what do you bench we would like try to like you know rep out like our one rep max like once or twice a week so that number could keep going up because it's like you know especially because dudes because we're stupid we're dudes we have ego and it's like whose dick is bigger you know like well i'll bench more than you, so I'm stronger than you, so I can beat your ass. you know, especially because dudes, because we're stupid and we're dudes. We have ego and it's like whose dick is bigger. |
| 2:34.9 | You know, like, well, I'll bench more than you, so I'm stronger than you, so I can beat your ass. |
| 2:38.0 | You know, we do the same thing at the bar. |
| 2:39.1 | Like, who can drink more beers, who can take more shots? |
| 2:41.4 | Like, really just stupid shit. |
