Okay, everyone. Welcome to episode two of our five-day mini-series.

0:20.5

And this episode is all about kind of beginning to train

0:25.5

your brain to start feeling better about our goals. Okay. So you want to look at your brain as,

0:34.4

I mean, I fucking said this a thousand times, but you want to think, how can I make my brain,

0:38.6

or more so my mind, work for me instead of me always feeling like I have to work for my mind.

0:43.9

It's like instead of having my mind control me, how can I regain that control and take power

0:49.4

back from my mind? How can we work cohesively together as a team? Because sometimes when things

0:56.2

kind of go a little bit all over the place, it feels like we're two entities, where we're kind of

1:01.7

battling against each other. But the only reason that's the case is not because your brain is

1:24.9

is trying to protect you. It's, you know, maybe you've

1:27.9

lent into anxious thoughts so often that the brain's like, ah, I need to protect you even more.

1:32.3

And to be more fearful. Oh, watch out, watch out, watch out. But everything that the brain does is

1:36.8

try, it's trying to do the right thing. When we think about a negative thought so much,

1:41.3

the brain's like, okay, well, I'll just make it easier for you to remember this negative thought. You're thinking about it so much, I'll just have it at the forefront.

1:47.3

Like a truck's like, I'll bring in similar things. You know, so as frustrating as it is,

1:52.6

I want you to understand that the brain is a neutral thing. Don't look at it as it's against me

1:58.3

or whatever. We're going to turn it into something that is working for us.

2:04.4

And this can be done through many, many techniques, the fucking millions that have spoken about

2:09.4

on the last 400 plus episodes and what we're going to be talking about today.
