Hey friends, this is fun therapy and my name is Mike Foster and

together we're gonna dive into the unfair and horribly hard and incredibly messy parts of life and we do it all with a smile.

I heard a poet once say that truth is a beauty, whether pretty or not. And that's why we call it

fun therapy because we talk about what is true. And each of us are on our way to

finding something beautiful in our brokenness, to forging a new meaning into our pain.

And you and I, whether you believe it or not, we're becoming strong in the broken places and

because of that we can find great joy. The joy of becoming who God created us to be.

My name is Mike Foster, and this is fun therapy.

Before we dive in I want to tell you about a live training workshop I'm doing in

San Diego. It's called Rescue Academy. I've been doing it for a few years and it's basically a two day workshop where I teach you how to be a great heart handler.

I teach you my framework for helping others.

We talk about identity and trauma and addiction

and self-care and listening skills.

And I teach you how to doodle and draw and I limit it to no more than 25 people so it's a very intimate

setting and I think the best part of the two days is I invite everyone over to my house for dinner on the first night and we do a bonfire and you get to meet my wife and our little tiny bummeranian dog named Napoleon and and sometimes even my mom and dad popped by for dessert time.
