Christmas curriculum, I guess, Christmas message, the last lesson of our Come Follow Me curriculum.

It's not an easy month for me.

I'll talk about that in a minute,

but I hope that you are able to enjoy

whatever parts of this season that you can,

and I hope that there are parts.

I'm still working on some of that, taking baby steps. Again, I'll talk a little bit more

of that in a minute, but I really hope that, especially if you have children or grandchildren,

that you can help to share a focus on Jesus Christ. There's so many different ways to do that in our world,

right? And we have so many resources available to us. The church has stunning videos, and there

are great materials even outside the church done by good Christian people who want to celebrate the Savior.

I think I mentioned this before, but when our children were little,

and I think this hit me when we were in Chicago.

So Chris was out of graduate school, and his first job was in Chicago.

We got there with four little kids.

Our fourth had just been born a month before Chris graduated with his master's. And Adam was, I think, not quite five when. So I guess we did have four,

four and under for a month or two before Adam has birthday.

And then we had two more kids in the three and a half years that we lived in Chicago.

So it was a busy time for us.

Back then in homemaking meetings that were in the evenings for Relief Society once a month,

they did a lot of crafts. and so they would do holiday decorations often.
