0:03.0	This is Season 5, Episode 2 of Plenary Session Podcasts. It's been running for five seasons now.
0:07.0	I think it goes back to 2018.
0:09.0	The video is a newer edition, but we've been doing it for a number of things, for COVID policy, for oncology, clinical trials, you name it.
0:17.0	And the videos have been popular because I can show some slides and walk you through some of the thinking.
0:22.0	Today I'm going to do some frequently asked questions. These are questions that have been piling up in my inbox.
0:26.1	I'm going to run through them and hopefully give you a sense of what this show and channel is all about and what we hope to convey to you going forward.
0:34.0	So number one, the first question. Who is this podcast? Who is this channel for?
0:38.2	What about other shows and other channels?
0:41.0	Well, you know, when I titled Plenary Session a few years ago, it was an oncology podcast,
0:45.9	but the subtitle was Medicine, Oncology, and Policy.
0:48.6	And it always aimed to do that.
0:50.7	Oncology, haematology, broadly, medicine, broadly, and policy, quite broadly. And policy
0:56.7	is very interesting to me. Policy is how we set the rules of the road. Policy is how we pay for
1:01.4	things, how we decide to adopt things. And what was missing from that byline, which I really
1:05.6	think is part of it, is practice. This is really a podcast and a channel about clinical practice
1:10.4	to some degree.
1:11.8	So I know there's a lot of competition out there now.
1:14.6	There wasn't back then in 2018.
1:16.2	We had the market cornered.
1:17.5	But right now there's a lot of competition.
1:18.9	You can listen to all sorts of podcasts.
