For those of you who may not know, I have three children and birthed all of them in my home.

And so I found today's interview particularly interesting

because my guest, Alessoniero, had a very different experience of her first birth. And it was

such a profound experience for her that she wrote a whole book about the issues around birth

and hospitals and medicine.
