And in the research terms, the last menstrual period, the first date of your last menstrual period,

to estimate your due date.

So we'll be talking about due date calculations and I'll be sharing a study, an interesting study,

that actually looked at this and examined how accurate the last menstrual period can be in predicting the

due date, in particular in this study they were looking at how effectively they could identify

preterm births. So with that said, let's go ahead and jump right in.

The title of this study is a little bit long and convoluted.

It's called a home calendar and recall method of last menstrual period for estimating gestational age in rural Bangladesh, a validation study.
