Welcome back to the morning mindset. I am so glad you are taking the time to align your mind with the truth of God.

Congratulations. That is a victory today. That is a step in the right direction of living your life in a way that brings honor to God and brings good fruit from this life.

I applaud you for that, I commend you.

Thank you for doing that.

That is how the body of Christ will demonstrate Christ to a world

that's very much in need of his touch. They really need to see him for who he really is.

And he is the humble servant of all. That's the topic we've been talking about most recently and how that truth translates into our lives as Christ followers.

You see, when we follow someone in the sense that we're talking about here. It means we emulate them. We

follow their teachings. In the next chapter in the book humility by

Andrew Murray that we've been going through, talks about humility in the teachings of Jesus.

And Matthew 1129 says, this is Jesus' words.

He says, learn of me, for I am meek and lowly of heart.

Stop for a moment and think about that. He is saying you as a believer as a Christ follower are commanded to learn of me because, that's what the word

for means, because I am meek and lowly of heart.

You see he's saying you need to learn this characteristic of me,

this humility that I have.

And Jesus said many things throughout his lifetime,

many teachings to this effect, where, for example,

in Matthew 1027, he says,

whoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant, even as the

son of man came to serve.

You see, his example is our model to follow.
