Welcome, my name is Carrie. I am a brother in Christ who is just eager to see

Christians live as Christians in this world.

To be different from the world because the source of life that flows out of us is different.

Jesus Christ himself is our power source for living.

And when he was here on the planet in physical form,

he made a huge impact because he was so different,

and now he lives in all of us. And he is promised that we will do much

greater things than he did and I believe he was speaking somewhat of the multiplied effect

of his spirit being in many many people throughout the world at the same time.

And that's you and me.

We get to be part of that effect that he wants to have in this world.

Now in the last episode of the morning mindset,

as we are speaking about this issue of humility,

I brought up a topic that perhaps, I don't know,

stripped your gears a little bit. It's one that we don't often think about, but one that we need to consider because it is scriptural truth.

And that is that we need to take on the mindset, the mentality, that we are nothing before God.

He is all we are nothing, and is when he comes in to fill us that we actually become something.

Now that is very countercultural in the day and age in which we live.

Because everybody is talking about being yourself and letting your uniqueness come out and

being the you you were meant to be and I understand what they mean when they say those things, because yes, God has created as a soul to be uniquely ourselves and we're not to be trying to imitate someone else.

But as a believer in Christ, that concept goes even deeper.
