Who and what do you identify as? Who ARE you?

How you think and see yourself dictates your actions. If you identify yourself as someone living with depression, or anxiety, or IBS, or osteoarthritis does this limit your potential in finding a solution? A big question. Question is, are you ready to challenge your identity?

What we identify as, or what we identify as having, as people that might put a limiting belief around what we're capable of.

And the reason why I was thinking about this is because I was talking to someone about their family history and they were sort of saying

oh well X is in my family and I was like okay that's great but why are you allowing that

to limit your potential what you're capable of, because as soon

as there becomes a problem with our own health, our own physiology, so let's say you start

to get a sore joint or you start to get some pain somewhere or you start to get a symptom with your blood glucose or your cognition or anything.

What you might then be tempted to do is go, oh yeah, my

granddad, he had osteoarthritis as well, so that joint that's hurting is

because I now get an osteoarthritis and that

makes it okay that makes it you know I can put it in a box and say oh well that

pain's normal because I've got a family history of osteoarthritis so I'm going to accept

that that's now a normal thing for me that's now me I'm going to live with that part as part of my identity

and the problem with that that is it stops you asking tough questions

and exploring what is possible with your health and fitness. So if I and I get a little bit of

like knuckle pain now sometimes with the cold and stuff like that.

I could go, oh well my uncle and my granddad have got a bit of the arthritis so I'm just
