Amazon's ruthless quest to own the world

and remake corporate power.

This book is interesting because unlike other approaches to Amazon,

it's not purely focused on the Jeff

Bezos' rise to power story in the 1990s, 202010s. Instead, it's focused on Amazon as a corporate

phenomenon and taking that set of analysis to look at the antitrust debates that have really

royal the left, right, and center as we debate whether or not we should assume a different approach

when it comes to assessing whether a corporation has too much power in the first

place. She also focuses a lot on the current FCC chair, Lena Khan, whose initial

rise to prominence rode on her writing an incredibly influential Yale Law Review journal article back in 2017

when she was still in law school herself.
