I used to be able to name every nut that there was, and that used to drive my mother crazy

because she used to say, Harlan Pepper, if you don't stop naming nuts,

and the joke was, of course, that we lived in Pine Nut, and I think that's what put it in my head at that point.

So I'd go to see, she'd hear me in the other room

and she would just start yelling.

That's like peanut, hazeln nut, cashew nut,

macadamian nut, that was the one that was sent her

going crazy. TVTL.

You know, I would like to take this straw and stick it in your ear and extract everything you've ever thought or felt or seen or even dreamed about your profession. I gotta be honest, would you, sir?

The kind of work I do, I don't think it's as interesting as you think it is.
