What? Welcome to the Huntsback Country Podcast. Today's episode is different than anything

we have done before. In previous years we've had

had listener before and after the hunt episodes and we've spoken with you guys

before your hunts to ask questions about your planning process what questions you had

what logistics you were still figuring out and things along those lines.

Today we're doing that but we're doing that amongst ourselves. And by we, I mean myself, Steve, and our good buddy Jeff Bloomquist. The three of us along with Justin Nelson are going on a

caribou hunt this August and really inspired by those listener before and after the

hunt episodes we thought it would be good to let you

guys in on a call that myself, Steve, and Jeff had to talk about our Caribou hunt.

This wasn't scripted, we didn't have an agenda. This was a

conversation that we would have had without a podcast just on going through some of the things

and decisions and questions that we had about this

upcoming Caribou Hunt but we thought it would be a good behind the scenes look to

just hit record as we had this conversation and so that's what we're doing today.

Again this Caribou hunt is taking place this August in Alaska. It is one of the three hunts that we will be completing as part of the experience project and documenting along the way

Before the hunt as we're doing today during the hunt with a hunt film and after the hunt with that film being released but

also with recaps lessons learned gear, and much more.
