And today it is the second episode where we are talking about gear,

and it's the second most important item

for the backcountry hunter.

First up, we had talked about footwear,

and today that number two item is your pack. Now we're not just

saying that because we make and sell packs and we'll get into that we're trying to

have a conversation today that removes our bias and just gives you some objective information

on what to look for when you were getting into a pack that is capable of load hauling for backcountry or mountain hunting.

Here is myself and Steve talking about what you need to look for in a load hauling hunting pack. Steve, this is going to be a fun conversation.

Obviously, I think we should not only talk a little bit about our, you know, bias and packs and I want to explain what kind of our bias means, but really just history because it is unique as we've talked about this content.

And in certain areas we're relying solely on our expertise in the field as we use things like footwear and shelters and clothing.

And then in other areas, we're pulling in experts on a particular area.

And in this case, you essentially happen to be the expert.

I mean, packs have been your life for more than a decade so I just want to lay that foundation and obviously explain a little bit on where we're coming from when we talk about packs today because it's going to sound self serving is not we're just trying to talk about
